He was born in Osmaniye in 1974. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Osmaniye. He graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. In the same year, he started his residency trainnig in Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. He graduated in 2003 as an ophthalmologist. He worked as an ophthalmologist at Erzurum and Kahramanmaraş State Hospitals. In 2011, he worked as the Chief Assistant at Istanbul Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital. Between 2012 and 2016, he worked as an assistant professor and associate professor at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University. He is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association and the Turkish Medical Association, and has scientific articles published in domestic and international professional meetings. He is married and has three children.
