He was born in 1969 in Kahramanmaraş. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kahramanmaraş. He started Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and graduated in 1992. In the same year, he completed his compulsory service in Tokmacık Health Center in Isparta. In 1994, he was appointed to the Yavuz Selim Health Center no. 4 in Kahramanmaraş. Between 1998 and 2008, he worked in the emergency department of Yörük Selim State Hospital. During these years, he worked in Güven outpatient clinic and Vatan Hospital emergency department.
He has been working as an emergency physician in the Emergency Department of Private Uğur Eye Hospital since 2017. He enjoys spending time with his family, painting, watching documentaries and gardening. He is a passionate Fenerbahçe fan, he is married and has 3 children.
